A customer - O. Bieroegel used the Mid-town Hotel kit to make a building ready for demolition. His photos are shown below. Mr. Bieroegel made the signage using a 3D printer.
These photos are from Mark Hado. Mark took the Firehouse kit and cut it down to one story to fit in with other buildings he has. He also added roof details and lighting since this will be for a Christmas Tree layout
These photos are from Mel Harner showing kit bashing of OGR kits on his layout - No that is not Godzilla in the background.............
J. Picciano sent photos of his OGR kits. Mr. Picciano used “PanPastel Colors for Models” to weather the painted colors applied as suggested from the directions, followed by a Dullcote spray. Mortar was a light white wash, with buildings glued together as suggested with taped interior joints to avoid light leakage from 12V LED bulbs on selected floors.
In the last photo the water tank is the standard OGR product however Mr. Picciano used a razor to mark out board lines, copper dollhouse tape for the tank rings and PanPastel colors for the roof and tank and brown paint for the base. The fire house was made of parts from the Ameri-Towne kits left over from other buildings.
